Great Barford Bowls Club welcomes new members – young or old or anywhere in between, boys, girls, men or women are all welcome. Try before you buy is our motto so we have what we call a Roll Up Night every Friday during the season, from 6pm to 7.30pm where new players can come along and try the game. All that is asked is you wear flat soled shoes to play. The bowls (woods) will be provided by the club for you to practice and basic instruction will be given. If you ask for Beryl or Keith they will be all too willing to get you started.
Once you like the game and want to become a member you fill in a simple form and pay the membership fee for the first year (or part year).
